In the 80s A man named carnell had a big farm he had xl12s hanging on hay hooks in several different barns and they had numbers scratched into them 1 to 5 i think.
the farm hands would use them all day and return it to it's hook after sharpening them if they had trouble to the old man to fix.
i always liked the thought of that but now there wouldn't be a saw left.

Kinda like this? Lol
The bone pile.

when the grass starts growing is when the morels start usually on north side of a hillside and near fallen partly rotten trees
I found this two years ago. Only one I've ever seen here. I always look for these and ginseng. Apparently I suck at finding both. Lol

At least take the bars off lol
None of them salvageable?

Yeah, there's fixer uppers in there. I keep Hi-grading the candidates I repair and end up with some pretty poor ones left. I'm running out of room where the bars and chains hang. Lol

Dj in my moms yard she has yuccas that trap maple leafs and some pop up there. Here in Kansas are river runs west east so running along the north bank is good. And they come up there first then they move out from the river as it warms up. On of my buddys will follow wild fires. The year or two after a fire its a question of how maany you can carry not how many you can find.
