Anybody use rivet nuts for extra exhaust deflectors? Or for any application, for that matter

I believe that is what ol emu legs uses or used to use.

Correct.

I use low profile rivet nuts and button head allen screws for the stainless steel mufflers.

Hey i changed one a couple of days ago on a 290 they seem to split in the same place.
My 87-year-old neighbor stopped and i had that chinese 365 apart he said good are you trying to slow that thing down lol

My 87-year-old neighbor stopped and i had that chinese 365 apart he said good are you trying to slow that thing down lol

About 1/2inch up from the tank I have changed 3 in 2 weeks
