I am officially about ready to give up on going out to eat to restaurants.....


Last night I took mum to her favorite place to eat. I consider it a higher end joint and it's about a hour away from us, so we get there maybe once every other year or so. The last time we were there we ended up getting our meal for free and a gift card for a free meal the next time we showed up because we got seated next to a 6 year olds birthday party. (Who takes about 15 six year olds to a high end hint is beyond me, but whatever)


Last night we had reservations at 7. It was 45 mins before we even got a seat.
20 mins before we even got water and another 20 mins before we got drinks... The service just plain sucked all the way around the whole night.

From when we walked in the doors until we left was just about 3 1/2 hours.... I was pissed



Needless to say I guess we gotta go back again cause we'll be eating on them again and we to least ate and drank on them again last night....


Service at restaurants is getting chittier and chittier. I've began to expect it from big chain places. I guess I expect better from higher end joints....

Morning guys! Last day of my 11 day stretch! Glad to be having three days off! Hope you guys have a great Christmas! My oldest moved to New York back in August. She drove in last night just after midnight. It's going to be great to have the whole family under one roof for a while.

I hate Christmas music
I hate crowds
I hate the city.



That being said, the concert was great. I really enjoyed it. I'm wanting to go back next year.

We got to security about 15 mins before the show started. The last time I was at the arena was 5 years ago. At that time there was no metal detectors...

I ended up running a back to the car which was a mile away cause I didn't want to toss the knife in the trash.....
I made it to my seat with about 2 mins to spare.

Did a yearly pilgrimage to Wally World yesterday(hate Walmart), saw a gal that had just an absofreakinglutely amazing back side, so I thought to myself best get over there and see if she needs someone to rub it for her. So I start to amble over, and she turned around, WOW what a face, stopped me dead in my tracks, she looking at me and I at her. Never saw anything so contradicting in my entire life. So I tipped my hat and r u n n - o f t the heck outa there. Finally I realized you're in Walmart stupid, not the Waldorf Astoria. Well there's always next year I reckon.

We are lucky. I live about 25 minutes from downtown chattanooga which has tons of excellent food.

We have a good place in Crossville.

We've got one good local joint right in town. Service is great, but it's small town local. Just over $11 and you have a decent burger with fries and two beers.

When I walk in the waitresses bring our menues, the pops for the kids and Lisa with our menues.
That's what I call service.
