Fellas...I'm gonna lay it out here in this thread. I've had afib for a couple of yrs now, they had to shock me after a couple of days in CVICU, after meds wouldn't control it, to get my heart back in the right rhythm. If you don't think those paddles won't get your attention with a scope down your throat checking your heart, you gotta another thing coming. The paddles will literally raise your body off the bed. It was the only option. My heart has always at times got in these crazy rhythms even with meds. Kinda losing your focus, get dizzy, lightheaded, like you lose your equilibrium at times. I'm heading to another heart cath next week. They didn't see anything absolute serious to warrant me having the cath at the moment. But they are gonna do some cleaning up and some stints for the future plan.
It's bothered the hell outta me for the last two weeks seeing the specialists and whatnot. I've changed up cardiologists and I think I'm in pretty damn good hands. My ex-wife, who runs Nuclear Medicine at a very prominent hospital in mid-Ga recommended this Cardiologist and I'm gonna run with it. He's every bit as good as my last Cardiologist who's just a MF'er to get in and see.
I hope everything goes well next week and I'll chime back in as best I can...let you monkey asses know what's going on. I'll be around onsite this wknd, gotta work tomorrow, just a little anxious I guess about this next heart cath.
You fellas enjoy your evening...this white boy wouldn't have it no other way.
