Not so bad thanks Todd, mended a few things, got a job or two booked in for next week, sold a saw and got some more timber undercover for the autumn/winter. It can creep up on me with evenings in sept/oct when you just need some heat .How about you ?
Just worked around the house today trimmed a couple of trees out the front sharpened a few chains that's about it

What was wrong with the pooch?

He was missing for about 24 hours. I figured he had gone off to die. Instead, I think he either got too far from home, or lost. He's about 16 years old. I thought he was older, but one of my nephews had a time marker for me to got by........his birth. LOL

He laid around all afternoon, and all that night. I had been making him take water. At first I was rubbing it on his lips.......and finally he started lapping a little up. He's made yet another amazing comeback. This ain't the first time I thought he was done for.

The old farm dog Lab here was like that. He fooled us a couple times over the last couple years. Last week he wasn't foolin'. RIP Freebie.

I get it. The heat was hard on him. He was bad the last few summers, then absolutely thrived in the winter. He had a total lack of couth so house dog was out of the question.

Old Bowzer is no inside dog either. Hell, he ain't never had a bath. lol
