Weather has no impact on us guys, thank God. Working aircraft under hangar roofs is a blessing from the elements...even so, it's hotter than hell in the summertime, freeze your nuts off in the wintertime with the hangar doors open...we also have to work several aircraft outside that have no home in the hangars. We keep ten C-17's under roof at all times. It's a guaranteed check working DoD civil service...but it's an assload of headache when you factor in the union grubbing, grievance filing, do nothing P's O *s-word, that do nothing but milk the udders of govt service. Something tells me brother, you smart enough to figger the demographics...nuff said.
