Mornin guys

It's deck season here too Mike. I can't wait until we can use it. Just finished putting posts in and the outside boards on last night. Stringers will go on tonight and then I gotta figure out what deck boards I need to order.

I found out a old buddy I used to go to school does stamped concrete, he's coming over this evening to give a price on our patio. Then I need to figure out if we want to do stamped or if I'll do the pad and do exposed AG.

Last fall my helper stepped through this deck doing gutters. By doing so it created a job : )

some have. trex. most think it looks cheap. plus ive seen the long term. it color fades.

We are doing Trex, I found some great deals on it locally.

I asked the guys at the lumber yard where I'm getting it from. They claimed that the have been able to fix the fading issue over the last few years.

We will see, I'll let you know in 10-20 years.

I would rather have a deck that fades over time and have minimal upkeep on than a deck I need to constantly stain and do upkeep on in the future.
