The dachshund that we had was brindle colored. Her and the Jack Russell together were a woodchucks worst nightmare.

Those brindle colored dachshund is very rare, I'm not that much into the colour system, ie, how to breed with a brindle one, something tells me that brindle & brindle is a disaster.

you bet Mike, I've followed the mother to them for a few years.
24th February can't get fast enough, not to forget the fall. What I love most is to see a puppie grow up to become a hunter.

A 10-10 automatic, Pro Mac 10-10, and a cp70. I have only ran the cp70 so far and I really like it.

Yep but it was small wood. It runs great right out of the box. It's only on it's second tank since a complete rebuild, so still breaking in.

For me there are some magic moments, I remember them all for it.
The first time he/she get bored by me and figure out there are stuff in the forrest to investigate.
The first time they bark when they are exited of a deer track
The first time I hear a full orchestra from them.
Those magic moments are for me, priceless.
I've had 3 dachshund so far DJ, they've all been very different individual, thats the cool thing with this race.

one of them Mike.
We'll probleby breed on her later, but I'll probleby invest in another puppie next year or late this year but from another blood line (hopefully the same line as I had before).

Heading back to how I started to hunt also, ie, that is with my long time hunting buddy. I used to hunt with a couple others before (trigger happy ones), but each time my dog went out of our terrain they always had to go home to their wife for dinner, they're not invited in the future, wouldnt like to ruin their future Sunday dinner
