I doubt the deliver at all on Saturday. Our mail service doesn't even deliver on weekends, UPS maybe at Christmas but not in January but I like the way your thinking... He plays in a band and usually isn't home until 3am or later, probably stayed up waiting for these guys and just went to bed...

Our post is closed too, but for some reason the guy that runs the country store nearby handles some deliveries. He never gets done during the week, so randomly he'll leave mail on the weekend. Luckily I went out early this morning and noticed he'd left my new Dolmar coil wedged in the gate.

We don't get door to door delivery, we have "Community Boxes" were we stop and pick it up. It isn't too bad as they can then leave smaller packages in a locked box instead of on your doorstep of something stupid like that...
