So you wish you had a 562XP there today to help you stay warm?

:D

I don't that would help me today. If I had to cut today I would already be screwed. You can definitely understand why I think an XP-G is in my future.

I will say I am very disappointed that Stihl doesn't offer any Arctic's in the U.S. ...

I need to give a big thank you to my wife, she's got pneumonia......

She hasn't been feeling right for the past three weeks. She really started feeling chitty today so she went into Prime Care....

It came just in time, we can now miss the Christmas party that we were supposed to goto tonight:D

She's miserable, but she's happy (not as happy as I am though) that we get to stay home tonight:D

I just read a little bit in the oil thread. Why do people think winter bar oil is better? Hell I run a saw all day everyday and have never used it ever. No failures from not using it either. Oil is kept under the muffler on any modern saw. Run the saw for a tank and it's so hot in there that no matter what weight oil you use its still dammed near thin as water. Winter oil always seemed to me like it was only beneficial because in 15F or colder weather you didn't have to squeeze it out of the jug. Can't say I know any loggers that use it.

Took the beagles out this afternoon. Couldn't find my handheld for my tracking collars so I just threw the collars on the dogs and went for a walk.

The problem with hunting around my house is that the dogs know where all the honey holes are. They ran one rabbit and it holed up. So little did I know they headed over the hill to another spot.

Spent an hour looking for them then walked back home. Grabbed my handheld off the reloading bench (right where I left it) jumped on my ATV and went to look for them.

Sure enough they were running a rabbit about a mile away. They were in some thick pines so I couldn't hear them from where I was.

Sometimes hunting with dogs can be a PITA. Hey at least I got some exercise!
