Morning all / Evening Todd & Mike.

I am sure I will love this saw but I can't see myself becoming a collector of the classics for this very reason.

I know you are going to love this saw, you can collect some of the classics that have parts a plenty like the 272 and 288, 346 and 372, for example. :)

Ya'll have a good one.

They made their own bed, they can lie in it too.
This particular area of the state needs some kind of a break, maybe this is it. They're going to do whatever they want anyways.
Even when they are overflowing with funds the WDNR doesn't do a damn thing with them, the Woodruff fish hatchery looks like a ghost town. Boat ramps, docks and the like go without maintenance. The town had to take over a state park because the DNR didn't want to keep it up any longer.
If they want to get rid of something they should start with the politically appointed natural resources board that makes decision by political ideology instead of what is best.
If their goal was to piss off every last person in the state, then maybe they could be considered successful.
What a bunch of hairy smelly A-holes.

I have a 288, NIB and it’s going to stay that way... How do I know? I’m leaving it in TN...

In my mind, most government agencies are cesspools. They ain't fit to do anything but serve themselves and make other people's lives miserable.

It is interesting and a popular opinion. I will say many govt departments have hard working well meaning people, sometimes prevented from doing what they feel is right by the politicos. My wife works for CRA Canada’s version of the IRS. One of the greatest frustrations they have every year is people that don’t file their taxes and their by don’t qualify for certain benefit programs. A single mom of 2 kids can get up to $560/month in Child Benefits if she would just fil her taxes hit many don’t. Every year they spend millions trying to reach out to these people so they can pay out even more benefits and the successes are celebrated.

Politicos are not the same as the workers who want to work and have success.

Damn, only one cup of java and the political filter isn’t on yet...

Yes, you are absolutely right, Gary. I'm not meaning to point a finger at anyone in particular, more so just jabbing at the bureaucratic conglomerates that serve only to create so much 'red tape' and problems that people are frustrated to even deal with them. I appreciate hard working folks, and I realize that most of them are stifled by layer up on layer of micro-management in these organizations.

I've made it a mission to live without connection to most services in general for the last 8+ years, and I must say it's good being sort of 'off grid'. We do file out taxes regularly though, as Europe don't play that...they'll seize everything in your bank account to pay back taxes.

Also, I was just sort of feeding Steve's fury a bit. No real political debates. I hate politics. My old man was one and I couldn't stand it. Lol.
