I got whipped across the face with a twig last weekend while I was hunting.

Put a purrty good scratch in one of my eyeballs.
Had the same thing happen while hunting a few years ago.Went to hospital they let me leave with the numbing drops.I put one drop in ever hour for three days not knowing there were eating at my cornea. Didn't tell me to take ibuprofren for swelling that would have helped. Had a good friend from church tell my wife to get me to see a eye doctor. She had made an appointment for the following Monday already. He told her to call this other doctor. She asked what I was taking and said to stop.I was at the last stage of a cornea ulcer and if would have waited till after weekend would have been blind in my dominant eye.Sucked was on steroid drops and other drops, lost work, couldn't drive, equalibrium was screwed couldn't hardly walk straight or see.Lost vision for over a month then slowly got better everything was a blurr. The eye doctor called my wife in when she seen my eye for the first time. She had never seen a cornea ulcer at the stage it was in. And her being female said the pain I was in was equivalant to child labor.I used to take my vision for granted.

You get eye injury go see a eye doctor not a dam hospital.
