It it was needing a major engine over haul lol. Had it been sent to the dealer for the cheat delete?

Negative. Just general preventive maintenance like timing belt/water pump. Took the valve cover off and looked at the cam. It was just a matter of time before the cam ate a lifter.

Just got out the the pool after the first swim of the year. Need to get Elliott a shower and them grilling some burgers .

Gorgeous day here, could have done with a little less wind, sustained 30mph eith gusts close to 50 but at least the air wasn't heavy and stale put

Afternoon fellas! Just made it through about 450 messages from wer i left off last. Clint u need to look in to a diesel chevette from the 80's. my buddy had one back in high school with a five speed. Got like 50mpg and was race car fast. It would smoke my buddies 98 s10 reg cab short bed with the vortec 4.3. And that truck is fast. Im sure they made a wagon version of the chevette. His was 4 door with a hatch.
