Just pushed some unburnt stuff together now and it blazed back up its a nice feeling to feel up some space for the good stuffI've been doing same thing here spent some time yesterday splitting alot of the rounds had stacked on some pallets found alot of chit wood. Had a nice fire last night fire pit is still smokin.
Thought about cranking up my firepit on the back patio but we're gonna hit mid-70's today...it'll start warming up pretty quick here shortly, be in flip flops and shorts directly. Wasn't for this little cool front coming through, mornings here would be the typical high 50's, topping out mid-80's or better later in the afternoons.Same here but Im stirring coals up in the fire pit burnt lots of crap wood
Ahhh Sunday the day of rest or is it the day to get chit done? I have been told what you gain on Sunday you lose on Monday.
I should have snow and ice now but I'm loving it while these temps last especially being in the tree removal industryThought about cranking up my firepit on the back patio but we're gonna hit mid-70's today...it'll start warming up pretty quick here shortly, be in flip flops and shorts directly. Working six days a week here for the past couple of months or better has relegated my Sunday's to getting house/yard work done. Between that, getting in the woods to hunt, working in the shop, grilling Boston butts, etc, Sunday is my only day to really do it. And now it's gonna get dark around 5:30/6:00pm so that cuts into the daylight equation.Ahhh Sunday the day of rest or is it the day to get chit done? In from the burn up...coffee and then a final rake together. Have some Leyland cypress trees that the tops are being reduced in a week of two so clearing the burn site ready . Cold day and a fire ..simple pleasures MikeI had the same last night burnt off all my crap wood re stacked all the split wood on pallets with the kids it was a good time
