Dental isn't covered by our health care system but luckily my wife and I both have supplemental insurance through out employers that covers it.

I will say I wasn't very happy when he told me he wanted to send me to a specialist for a root canal...

DAM. Do you have to go through the exchange? After my Dad passed my Mom got insurance on here own and it runs her about $600. Blue Cross Blue Shield. Not sure if you have them out there.
Of course this was all pre ACA and she was self employed when she signed up.
