Somebody pissed off mother nature. This is Lake Superior in Marquette, MI. Presque Isle park. We were out on these cliffs a few years ago with the kids jumping about 20' off into the water.

I think the water is trying to get away from that cold air a coming.

If he don't get one soon I'm gonna buy his one. His dad is disabled and sells firewood to the local state park scamp ground, and anyone else who wants any. His son and I cut, and split it for him. They are really good folks and I felt horrible about it today I really did and they just laughed it off
