Wayne, below is what Dave said in the Jonsered Shocker thread a couple days ago. I surmise from that info that TSC is going to be done with J-Red after stock is depleted. Now that may take a while but we shall see. Well, you'll see. My nearest TSC is 6 hours away and not on a route I travel when I go to the states...

Purchasing Agent for TSC says they are buying out anything left of the current Jonsered inventory and blowing out at retail.
Stores don't get to order anything they will just be sent additional inventory of whatever they have been actually selling before the closeout.
So if you want a cheaper 2166 or 2188 find a store that was already selling them, apparently.
A location that sold mostly little homeowner saws will get more of the same.
Your mileage may vary, when i asked yesterday about buying a bunch of saws they didn't have at TSC location they made a call and then put me on the phone with him.
No 2166 or 2188 for me so far, but I need one like i need a third kneecap anyway, just found myself next to a TSC and wondered how cheap they might be.

Supposedly going on now, the TSC I was in had several homeowner models at significant discounts, 2245 was $179.00, forget what the retail said it was but it was a good percentage off and all the Jonsereds were marked down.

Morning All / Evening Todd.

Today should be a pretty good day even if it is the longest work day of the year. We host a golf tournament for our customers and today is that day. Starts about 8am with set up at the club house and doesn't finish until after dinner around 9pm and somewhere in the middle there is a grinding 6+ hour round of golf.

High of 68 and partially sunny should be just about perfect!!!
