I'm a stickler about having a good chain. Theres a few I know that could care less about maintaining a good work chain, then whine cause it won't cut. I like to fix them up and see the surprised look on their face. Lol

He's run my saws many many times and had a hard time with them. He always digs the dogs in and yanks on them. It doesn't work well with a sharp chain.

i cut out river bottom trees they like to suck up sand and dirt. and i run stihl chain since Oregon dulls to fast in dirty wood.

I been running Stihl chains lately too. They hold up well cutting dirty hardwoods that's been pushed up with a dozer.

carlton is good too if you can get it. its stay sharpen longer than Oregon.

You need to get some square chains DJ, it will surprise you how long it lasts.

That pile is almost cleaned up. My system works pretty good. Start with 3 saws, when the chains are dull the truck is loaded and I head home. Then do it again the next day...
