I'm going to be getting a welder for my shop here shortly.

I've come down to a Miller 211
Lincoln 210
Or a ESAB Rebel 215

These welders come as Mig only or multipurpose option for a few hundred more so I can Tig

Is 210 amps enough to tig, or should I just get the cheaper mig only welder and spend that money on a tank?

Do any of you guys have a preference on these smaller welders in regards to Miller, Lincoln or ESAB? I'm leaning towards Miller because that's all I've ever used, but I'm used to their bigger stuff

Mornin'
We got bored and went to the movies last night missed dunkirk already playing.
But valerian and then watched that spiderboy movie they were pretty good.
I would of been asleep before the commercials were over

No Wonder Woman?
There was no fapping allowed Steve

Good morning to the band of rejects
I resemble that remark

I highly recommend checking this place out.

Yea, no pets allowed, I did kinda chuckle at it.
We went to the Creation Museum first before the Ark. No pets allowed there either. But they did have a guy come in so did a snake show. Eli loves snakes so he talked us into going to it.

We got there early and Eli Sat in the front row. He got talking with the guy doing the show and he told the guy that I'm scared of snakes and I hate them.....

Guess who the guy doing the show grabbed out of the audience to help him....

Oh hell to the no
Yea, I really wanted to cut that damn things head off.

This is a Christian based museum, this show had a lot of kids in it. That snake slithered it's head up to my head and put it's toung in my ear.

I had to make a public apology. I believe my exact words were "*f-word this, get this *frenching thing of of me "
Right on there and in my apology I would of reminding them snakes are evil

lol i grew up in my uncles junkyard grew up playing with snakes and snapping turtles i have played with copperheads just make sure you hold them right

also if you want to kill one you grab it by the tail and bull whip it its pretty cool too
Yes it is

morning wayne hows you

My neighbor has the Lincoln 3 in 1. Works good for home/hobby work.

The one thing I don't like about Hobart is that you can't fine tune the things. They have 10 or so voltage settings. I like to have the ability to fine tune my voltage.

I've got a old Lincoln tombstone for stick already. I'm questioning if these smaller ones will have enough ass behind them for tig.

If I do go with the more expensive multi-task ones I will have to use flux-core wire for the time being until I can get a tank.

Also if I get a multi-task I'm not planning on setting up for tig, but at least I have that option down the road if the need arises

Been welding for 20yrs as my profession.
Have used the Miller and Lincoln good ones. Have not used Esab. We tested one where I used to work, bigger one, I didn't like it.
For me it would come down to the first two $ and dealer support and how close dealer.
