Same here i only carry a gun when night fishing a few year's ago my niece's husband was coon hunting at 2:00 am alone .
and his dog went up to a group of
People drinking next to a lake I've fished at for 30 year's .
They were friendly at first petting the hound and out of nowhere one of them hit him from
Behind with a tire iron or hammer.
It shattered his jaw and broke his nose.
Didn't knock him out though he beat the *s-word out of the guy and nearly crushed the guys throat.
He was passing out so he drove himself to the hospital.
60.000 i think it was to get plates all through his jaw.
All this over nothing at all.
There's hardly any crime here but it can happen.

Thats unfortunate for your cousin. And yeah I've seen some dumb *f-worders fishing to. Also 180 gr fmj in my 40cal. I want that *s-word going through windshields and car doors. Just sayin
