Wouldn't that just piss you right off
I have several friends in the blacktop/concrete paving field.
Most 20 plus years.
Mike has been hit multiple times by idiots while flagging traffic .
It's amazing he hasn't been severely injured.
He keeps a 2×4 or a 2lb hammer usually handy one woman looked him dead in the eyes and sped up trying to hit him he sent a 2x4 through her windshield and she finally slowed down.
Chris was hit a few time's he quit and runs heavy equipment now.
It's a very dangerous job working heavy highways.
Whether it be a operator or flagman.
Idiots have driven around barriers and totaled their vehicles running into equipment or missing pavement.
An older woman died several years ago she drove right onto a new bridge without a deck.
Several drivers have taken a beating from construction workers lol
Cell phone's have made it more dangerous.

Dominant piston gives about 180 lbs of compression with a gasket delete or setting squish by cutting the base and using a gasket. By the time one ships piston and jug to someone for machining with a new meteor you have the same money in it.

The one on those is around .045-.050" right in the center. I never made one over .035". Always tried to leave .100" from the ring land to crown.

So what would be better?

I like using the drop in ready to go piston. One of the best running ones I've ever done has the squish tightened and that's it for machine work so I could use a gasket. Gasket delete will put you in the .023-.026" range with 170-180.

Thank's i've been running the 2.73 ft pistons.
The 268 runs really good but I'm going to try the big bore 52mm 268 and 372 50mm with popups
I like messing with the china saw's
They affordable lol
I don't have a way to cut bases anymore i will just mess with the popups for now until my buddy gets his lathe setup in a few months.

So you think there's enough gain to make it worth trying then.

Oh dammit I'm probably gonna have to try it ....

Fed through the paver it makes him gag.
Over 100 degree's on the paver 270+ asphalt temperature.
