I gots a tb 4 banger trimmer. On its 3rd shaft about 10 years old. Was hard to start one year changed fuel lines and still fire on first or second pull.

Never had any issues with the shaft but the bump head always gave me fits... The bastard sure does have torque though, pull the trigger and the thing wants to twist right out of your hand.
