I just hope that we use it enough to justify buying it... My wife grow up camping and is excited to take our kids.

I've gotten 4-5 texts messages today making sure that I'll be off work on time...... I bet the kids sleep in it tonight in the driveway!

I grew up camping. We used to take family vacations all over the country and camping along the way. Us kids have a lot of good memories.

My parents just got a huge 5th wheel last year and typically take the month of September off to camp. This year they are taking Route 66 to California.


Some day we will get a nicer camper and take longer trips. Right now I don't like pulling our's more than 30 or so miles away.

The radio system is down for the local FD.

Dad and mom are getting their house resided. I figure today is as good of day as any to burn all the scrap siding pieces


Lisa is hanging out at the station with a few other guys today in case a call comes in.
If a call does come in they can disregard it here:D

Just got off the phone with a coworker. The manager who prompted the meeting accusing me of falsifying my timesheet is now under investigation himself from the corporate security.

Apparently he has been under scrutiny for months for fudging his workers job times to make his numbers look better. He has been placing ficticious jobs on time sheets to get the hours off the real jobs.

It was only a matter of time before the lies caught up with him. I dont wish for him to get fired, just to go away.

I don't know why I never thought of the idea, but when I was in Texas the guys told me to light the charcoal grill.

I asked where newspaper was if they had a chimney starter, or if not where the lighter fluid was.
The guys looked at me funny and said that the burner is sitting next to the grill.
I went out back and next to the grill was a 20lb LP tank with one of those huge burners on.

Needless to say the charcoal lit real fast. And I'm still scratching my head wondering why I never thought of doing that.

That's what they use. I need to get one at my house.

We have one at the farm for taking hair off a pig for hog roasts and for thawing frozen stuff in the winter.
