personally i think we should stay out of this and withdraw everything and everybody deployed
we have no business meddling in other countries business or problems.
im all for a isolationist state and not helping any country ally or foe.
we need to help everyone in are own country instead of worrying about the world.
Just think about this for a minute Jake, we could all be speaking German or Japanese ...

So I 'm looking for advice (can't believe I am asking you firetruckers...) but I need to replace my gas grill.
Do I get another grill? Brands/ recommendations?
I would like to be able to try smoking but still need a grill. Can a Traeger do it all?

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!!

I'm interested in Jason's response too. I'm in need for a gas grill too.

Our current one was a wedding present and it's on it's last leg. I don't use a gas grill to often, but they are handy to have around. If I get a gas grill it'll be a Weber Genisis series. The lower end Webers are now made over seas. A buddy has two Genisis grills and I am highly impressed with them. There are no hot or cold spots on that grill.
I've cooked on a lot of budget and other grills that should be considered "higher end" and I've been disappointed with them because there are always sections that are hotter and colder.

I'm contemplating on getting a pellet grill to try out because I know I'll use one of those more than a gas grill. Before Jason has stated that the Traeger will get hot enough for grilling.

The questions I have on the Traeger is.
1: how long does it take to warm up.
2: Will it get hot enough for a good sear?
3: Are there pellets available that don't "smoke"?

I love smoked food, but my wife and kids aren't as big if fans of it as I am. If there is a pellet that essentially doesn't smoke I'll be sold.

Part of me wants to pick up a pellet grill/smoker at Menards. I know it ain't a Traeger, but they are also half the price too. But I know that a year or so down the road I'll be wishing I just but the bullet and bought a Traeger.

But, at the same point, a Traeger is the same money as a Weber Genisis grill....

Morning all. Finally broke out the oh26 woody pro yesterday. Brought the Lil bugger to work on a 2 day removal job. Haven't run that saw since the chisago county fair chainsaw races last year so it was nice to blow the cob webs out of it.
We had all the company saw on site 200t, 025, 036, 461,661 love it and the 3120 husky. Well the doss decided to try the woody pro up in the bucket to fell some tops into the yard and had a bit of a grin on his face. Came down and stihl used the 026 for a few more cuts before it went into the chipper. Yeah he was very impressed with the Lil bugger. Said it goes like a bat out of hell, first impression, 2nd he thought it was gunna blow up so I make some cuts and let it rev like it supposed to in the cut. His eyes lit up and said you did something to that saw huh. I replied. Yeah play with it a bit and it's not done. Few other things to do before I'm happy with. He ask me what do you need to do. Ahh a few more things and new piston rings. Told him I'm not ordinary like he is. Felt so good to here that saw roar and piss rev again
