Hell most dealers don't have parts for a 30 day old saw around hereDad took his 038M to the Stihl shop for a tune up.
They told him, "that we don't work on these 30yr. Old saws anymore, there's no parts."

I tore down my saw and the piston has a little more wear than I like to see so I ordered a new one. The fuel line needs replaced too so that's on order. I could get by with the other piston I have but decided not to cut corners on this one since it's gonna be extra spicy. How far off are you from running your 385 DJ?

It does shrink down some once dressed. I will eat this everyday this week. I love this quinoa salad.
I get homeowner saws all the time for people dealers tell them they are not salvageable and to buy new i haven't fixed one yet that wasn't a simple carb or fuel line or even a piston if i can save the cylinder hate to think how many people fall for that crap.Dad took his 038M to the Stihl shop for a tune up.
