Cleaning up a couple of cylinders. I saved that 55 closed port after learning how to clean them up, thanks to @Mastermind , it did not hit the recycling bin. Going to put it in a 51 and port it a bit. Might as well build it faster, I always used to say.

All could have been avoided by just using an air filter and cover. I can't save money like some folks can. It's new owner will take care of it, as he was the one that rescued it.

They're not a bad little saw. Just be generous with the sealant when you put it back together. The fella I built one for says he loves it.

I'll agree with you there, not sure if I can even get gaskets for it. Think the guy likes the Jonsered name and that it's a light little saw. It was dead when he got it, so not sure of his expectations. Have to take good care of him though, as when I need any electronic work, he's the man to see.

If the carb boot has the wire clamp it will most certainly leak there. A little smear of yamabond on the flange then slap the boot on will cure it.
