You better haul ass south cowboy, all I can tell ya. I coulda had these little piddling birds done 4 hrs ago, just sampling these New England Apple (apple/maple mix) and see how they wanna act with a several hour smoke. It's all about the taste my man...when it's all said and done.
I need to send you some real chicken Jason. Lol

PA home grown... it'll change the way you look at the store bought stuff.

That said I'm sure your birds are mighty tasty.

evening steve yes i find the stihls easier for me to work on and can almost do them blindfolded hows you

I find Husky's much easier to work on. That being said, I am relatively certain that I could do a full rebuild on a 029/290 blindfolded. I would much rather work on a Husky, but 90% of what I work on is Stihl.

On another note. I just picked up a 026 a few mins ago. A guy stopped by needing two chains for a old Homelite. He had a 026 in his trunk, the P&C look perfect. It runs, just real rough.
It is missing the air filter cover though.

He asked if I would trade him two chains for the saw:D

Yup, there isn't nothing like home grown.

Chicken from the store just doesn't taste right to me. This year I am going to raise a batch for only 4-5 weeks so they dress out around 3-4 pounds. I normally raise them for 8 weeks and theyll dress out anywhere between 8-10 pounds.

Evening. Been playing around with saws all day and watched a port job get ground.
Howdy Mike. I ordered a right angle hand piece yesterday. So I'll get started on the 385 soon. Kinda been putting it off until I could do it properly.

Sold a saw to buy the handpiece. Thinking about selling a couple more to pick up a lathe. We'll see...

It's a worthwhile investment if you do 10 or more a year.

I raise the red rangers. Slower growing but better flavor than the white ones. IMO
