I guess different strokes for different folks when it comes to the flu shot. I've gotten it every year for the last 7/8 yrs...insurance covers it, no cost...haven't had the flu since. I'm pretty anal about keeping my hands washed, etc when it comes to working in the hangars with a few hundred other people. I use alcohol based hand wipes religiously out there. I'm sure it helps after touching the same door knobs, all the chit in the hangars, etc. Just try to avoid that miserable, bone and joint aching, fever chit.

I've never had the flu vaccine, knock on wood I've never had the flu either.

Knock on wood I generally never get sick. I'm not sure if it's from my life on the farm and building immunity twards everything.

Either a 17 ram 3500 tradesman auto 6.4 or a chevy 2500wt auto 6.0. Both crew cab long box 4x4. Ram sure is pretty, but both of my grandpa's retired from gm..

Within 3k price, but a ram 2500 wold probably be cheaper than the chevy.

Dad went from a 13 with a Cummins to a 15 with the 6.4. He really likes the truck. The mileage is way better with the 6.4 than he got with the Cummins (3-4mpg better) for driving around, he gets the same mileage while pulling.

The only downfall of the 6.4 vs the Cummins is the acceleration isn't near as quick when pulling a gooseneck.

I was told that the Cummins did get better over the last few years, but the model that was in his old truck the EPA did a dang good job at making POS. To this day his biggest regret in trucks was selling his 07 with a Cummins and buying that 13.

12-13 were the worst. I have a friend with one that's a 13-14 mpg truck. Mine is an 11 and it's a 17-18. Another friend has a 15 and it's a 18-20

He was told that after the fact when he bought it:facepalm: I guess those years they were trying to get by without running DEF
Dads was a 9mpg truck on a good day. It didn't matter if he was or was not pulling anything.

His 07 was a 15-17 mpg truck.
