Any of you fellas fooled with RTIC coolers? RTIC has a deal going on now, albeit they're completely out of stock on the 65qt coolers, for $139. Seems the only way to buy them is either direct from RTIC or Amazon. Their 45qt coolers are $122...the 65qt for $17 dollars more is definitely the deal right now. My understanding is the sale on the 65qt models is gonna go on for some time, when they get back in stock. They are stout coolers...the 65qt weighs 36.5 lbs empty, the 45qt weighs 25 lbs empty.

I got a 65 and 20qt for Christmas

Those yours jason? I wouldn't mind getting a new cooler, just not sure how durable they are

All the hype you hear about them, yea it's pretty much true.

We have 20qt ones on the back of the ATV's when we shoot in West Texas. When we are there it's over 110 and we are up on a mountain baking in the sun all day in no shade.

We put about 2-3" of ice on the bottom, fill it with water bottles and then put ice on top of the water. We are in and out of the things all day.

We will easy get two days on the ice.

This mornings adventures. Elliott on the snow slide out front of the house. It's nice to spend some time outside together next the daylight. During the week the days are so short and such a rush. Of course warmer than -14c would have been nice too.

They're still sold out...I'm sure when they get back in stock it's gonna be a madhouse, free for all. I think I might pick up one more 65qt in Arctic White. Then I'll donate my seven/eight 48/50 qt Coleman and Igloo old school coolers I've had for decades to my brothers and sisters.

I pulled them out of the shop and into the sunlight, see how they wanna act with ice. I think they'll be fine. Seems the 45 qt white cooler has a helluva lot tighter seal than the 65 tan has. But the 65 has had ice in it for three days now, and it's still solid. Mid-50's this afternoon as far as temp goes.

What you mean sled Steve...snowmobile? I've only ever seen one snowmobile in my 49 yrs on this rock. That was at Volk Field, Wisconsin...back in the late 80's, cold weather training and exercises with the Corps. Haven't personally seen another snowmobile since.

Guess I'm glad I got the Mojave Tan 65qt and the Arctic White 45qt when I did.

Fixing to mess with the beast...finally delivered after two weeks. It's gonna replace a 50" plasma Samsung in the living room. 4K SUHDTV, upscaling of all feeds, 240MhZ refresh. Paid the same amount for this thing that I did for my 50" Samsung plasma back in the day. Amazing ain't it!!
