Yesterday got to thinking because of cold weather coming and not having any apples last year.I put a couple box fans pointing up my 2 favorite trees.Turned it on let it run all night. Hopping it helped not sure as we got some snow there was alittle on some of them but not like the others.

I think you'll be good. All you have to do is keep the air moving so the frost doesn't bite. Back in the day the local orchard used big kerosene fueled salamanders. They weren't for heat but just to keep air moving.

Two or three years ago when it was 80 for a week in early March everything started budding early, and two weeks later we had frost.

The apple orchards around here hired helicopters to circle their fields and they'd set fires throughout their orchard's.
