Lord knows how old it is there's two tv shows in wv and virginia that tear down old cabins and houses and reuse the wood into new homes or furniture it's really great to see what they use it for
One's barnwood builders in wv the others black dog salvage in virginia check it out if you ever see it there.

That's how most houses were built a hundred years ago or more or they were set flat on the ground on big sandstone blocks i know where dozens of old house seats are all the wood is gone just the stone remain.

I was trying to find the news story for you guys but years ago a very old two story house was for sale it was empty and three guys stole the entire hammered copper roof and eaves downspouts everything that was copper lol i'm sure they recycled it but they did a hell of a job looked professional lol

On the other hand an over the road truck driver came home after a month and his friends had unbolted and recycled all his aluminum siding for a keg party lol
