The drive to Eureka went well enough, 2 hours 15 min to get there, 2 hours 5 to get home.
Streams and lagoons are pretty muddy, still running high, although two of the lagoons were breached to the sea.
I stole a sat photo showing the coast with the rivers spewing mud.
The big lump near the bottom is Cape Mendocino, the little lump near the top is Crescent City where I live.
The two rivers making most of the mess are the Eel to the south and the Klamath to the north.

Think it's only 10* outside. But they aren't making any heat in the plant so it drops fast. Probably 60* isnide and dropping

As for the wire. Avg over the whole job will probably be 125# per shift. But tonight I'm working comfortable/close I can do a spool in 2-3hours. Filling cracks, trying to hold an edge, you'll be lucky to get 50# a shift.

From the strong southerly winds I am thinking our warm up has begun. By the end of the weekend we are to go from -20 to 20 above. It will be so nice to go outside without exposed skin freezing in under a minute.
