I feel very blessed to have missed any tornado stuff from the storms these past couple days. When they were forecasting they said this was the first time it had set up like this since 2011. Back then I had one go right over my house in East Tennessee touching down before and after. Scariest noise I’d ever heard. It didn’t seem real. Since then I’ve taken tornado watches/warnings a little more seriously. I will be making some kind of storm shelter here at my new place in Middle Tennessee. I had more standing water by double than I’ve had since I moved here when I left for work last night.

You moved out there in the tornader alley of TN! I am debating building one here. There have been two hit on the area since I moved here in 2011. I have a good hillside I could use to dig into for one.

Seen parts of three tornadoes since being in this house including tail end of Joplin 2011. When I added onto the house I put this under the master bedroom closet. Extra rebar and 8" thick walls with access to under house and outside.

It pretty much done here. Just some light rain. The wind never got bad here according the RAWS weather station on the hill. 20-25 MPH gusts, but we have received 3 inches of rain so far. I’m going to sleep now, lol.

It started slacking off here about midnight so I was gonna lay down.got in bed plugged my phone up to charge,seen it flash then heard the power line pull off the house.

Worked out some more trade deals. Getting a red and white homelite 150. And picking up a yard man lawn tractor to fix and resell on Tuesday. Tried hamburger flavored pizza today, it was good.

Changed the oil in my mowers and wood splitter today, also mowed the grass around the barn and shed. It’s dumping rain again now for the next couple days, can’t complain bnut ready for some dry days.
