Temps hit 86f/ 30c, far too sudden a rise to try and do any work outside. Had to turn the AC on in the house for a while.

We are already 68 headed to another 82 today with strong southerly winds again. We are in desperate need of some rain, already several wildland grass fires causing evacuations and even some property losses already. We have not greened up from winter yet and it could be an absolute disaster if we don't get the rain that is forecast for later this week.

This warm up has been sudden and extreme, normally I wouldn't complain about this heat but...
