I wish I would have done things differently when I was a teenager. I spent most of my money, and I’m “paying for it” now in life, when I could have been set a lot better by saving and investing. Girls and snowmobiles are expensive and there’s no return on the investment lol

Trust me, I wasn't any different, and I paid the price

Prime example of "I wish I knew then what I know now" and was smart enough to listen

I didn't learn until my 40s and luckily we were able to get our financial șhit together in time to have a livable retirement

I do save money guys, not quite as much as I should, but I do. Saving money is why I’m pinching pennies.

Then remember that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. If your boss treats you well, and you have a good job, and you have enough to save and spend a little, then maybe you should count your blessings and stay put. Easy to chase an extra dollar, only to find out that the new job sucks, or the boss is a jerk, etc.

My current boss up north here at the equestrian center treats me very well. I love that job. However, they only want/need me mondays/wednesdays/fridays and occasional weekends. So I’m looking for another part time job for tuesdays and thursdays. I should definitely be more thankful for what I already have, but it don’t help that most of what I have and am/should be thankful for is 2 hours away right now and I only see it once a month for now.

Back ribs are ~$20 a rack at Costco. Not too bad

I think we are going to town this week and we will probably make a trip to the base commissary where I stock up on meat

I’ll look at rib prices

I do know that braised short ribs are trendy now so they are stupid expensive but I’ll look at the other beef rib prices
