Finally got it on my 6th try..
#carsblowmastodondick
the one that drives has had 4 knee surgeries and shoulder surgeries and is 67 so i let him decide but i still say its not that bad and t shirt weatherThat ain’t even cold yet. You better light ‘em up if they try to cancel on you.
Is the Chevelle done?My detached garage/shop is heated but I only turn it on when I plan to be out there for a while when it's cold.
You added the whole bottle to a full tank (10-12 gallons)? Be careful, that can lean the sled out, even though it’s EFI. Hard on pistons…I got the snowmobile started and running! Added a bottle of HEET and it started 4th pull after a while.
My dad told me to add the whole bottle to the tank, which only has 6 gallons in it… it’s his sled, I will definitely let him know that and maybe fill the tank the rest of the way before running it more. What is your opinion on running it on the current heet/gas ratio just for a short easy test drive later? I already let it idle 10 minutes and drove it out of its spot…You added the whole bottle to a full tank (10-12 gallons)? Be careful, that can lean the sled out, even though it’s EFI. Hard on pistons…
lol come on now whats the sensible talk going onYou added the whole bottle to a full tank (10-12 gallons)? Be careful, that can lean the sled out, even though it’s EFI. Hard on pistons…
you pretty much got told to dump the old gasMy dad told me to add the whole bottle to the tank, which only has 6 gallons in it… it’s his sled, I will definitely let him know that and maybe fill the tank the rest of the way before running it more. I was going to drain the old gas if it didn’t start easily today. And it started, so all is good. The current situation is because someone told me to add a bottle of heet to their sled and I did it. Now that’s his problem I will help him to resolve. I don’t think I had a sperm donor.you pretty much got told to dump the old gas
but you didnt listen just so you can keep up the conversation
those old *f-worders around you probably know more than the sperm donor your mom picked out
Looking great Ed !!!!!Nope. I'll get back at it now that deer season is done for me. Got new alternator and power steering brackets. Need to make some to hold the harness across the bellhousing. Have to drill for a pass through on the firewall for the ecm wiring.
This was the last pic as it sits

Just because it started, doesn’t mean it won’t melt the engine down. Old/bad fuel burns more snowmobiles down each winter, than any other issue. It’s basically running off of the alcohol from the Heet bottle. It obviously didn’t run on the fuel in the tank… and now with the 12oz or so of alcohol, it magically runs - what does that tell you? Drain the whole tank, fill it up full with FRESH from the pump 91 non-oxy gasoline, and then let it idle a while to purge the fuel system of the junk that’s in it now.I was going to drain the old gas if it didn’t start easily today. And it started, so all is good. The current situation is because someone told me to add a bottle of heet to their sled and I did it. Now that’s his problem I will help him to resolve. Just because you are one up on Randy means nothingMay go that route, I am still way above the average number of teeth in my head for TN.
