Thx for the pics Ed. Nice HD pump. Like the plastic gear surround to help keep prevent the aeration of fluid in the pan. Clean fluid and not any metal to speak off. What's your final diagnosis? Pump drive failure?

Can see where it's eating the cover. It moves probably 1/4".. and shouldn't.

Pump gear was junk too.


There was plenty of metal. Those pics were after I cleaned it out

Is this one of the 10 speed GM/Ford joint venture transmissions Ed? I'm curious if the GM versions have CDF drum issues as well.

Cantwell is one of those places that used to be a mandatory fueling stop on the way to Fairbanks but with cars running further on a tank of gas and Denali and Healy growing, it has almost dried up and blown away

If it wasn't the west end of the Denali "Highway" I doubt there would be anything left

They can be tough to see at first. Sometimes they are real bright and vivid, other times they are kind of dull, until you take a picture of them - that’s typically when the color pops.

Can't sleep
Saw the partial lunar eclipse earlier .
I have only 3 more radiation treatments so by friday i will be free of doctors for about 3 months.
I can then sleep when i want, go out of town and bother other people and generally do things that i want to do.
I just hope my energy comes back soon.
Cancer sucks but the medical professionals around me have been great.
