Right. With my Dad being a Michigan State Trooper guns and such were always a household item and we learned early.

i just spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning guns. Over an hour and a half just on my AR. It was pretty dirty. Now the basement is freshened with the smell of Hoppe’s No. 9.
I grew up with the smell of Hoppes No. 9 and it is still a welcome scent

It probably killed a lot of brain cells which could explain why I am in this thread but it remains an iconic part of my formative years

Of course guns scare me just like chainsaws do so I would never own either

Now if you will excuse me I need to go see if my Pride flag is hanging limply like it should

Lnk

Same way me and my siblings were raised. One is still in the Marines, a deputy, a nurse, and dumbazz me that plays with high voltage.

We all worked for what we have. My parents helped us get started and now we all work hard for what we have.
I think you will find that is a common theme around here, which is why all the chit posting never offends anyone. This is our safe space from all the safe spaces. Now GFY!

Afternoon dìckheads. Kids truck is mostly back together. Far from perfect but it’ll get him down the road. The youngest and his buddy have running the maple operation all day. I’m sure glad they like thiIMG_0629.jpegIMG_0628.jpegIMG_0631.jpegs kinda stuff. At least I know where to find them.

If I'm not mistaken, you're a millennial.

Gen X, born in 1974.

I've done a bit of reading, on all the different generations, I buy a little of it. But I think most of it is just rubbish, that just cause you were born at a certain time, means you act this way or that way.

Life experiences, upbringing, your mindset outlook on life, has more to do with it, than anything, IMFO.

Yet one more example of the modern propensity to “label” people

We can’t just be people

We have to be pigeonholed by age, size, race, etc

And we wonder why we are so damn polarized
