I really don't know how you do it i absolutely dread working on vehicles anymore
I used to like working on stuff.
Today i have to take apart most of the frontend of my brother's 2016 Toyota highlander
Just to put a new alternator in.
He claims it's what's wrong with it
It draws the battery dead in no time so he put a new battery in
Same thing.
Parasitic loss somewhere
I've been working 12 hour day's
So he checked everything and ran a code reader no codes.
I'd put a voltmeter on the battery terminals with it running.
If it's 13v or higher, I'd tell him to replace the alternator himself as it's currently working.
Cars aren't so bad. Some stuff is too overcomplicated but it's just nuts and bolts.
