We are pushing the technology. But they need to know how to do it the old school way for the day that the battery dies in the calculator..View attachment 404230
Years ago I figured out what worked well for me doing residential stairs. I take the height, divide that by 7, that gives me the number of risers. Then use that whole number back onto the height to get the exact amount of rise per riser.
Alaska would be a better option to live than Tennessee
Ain't no place better than Tennessee. I don't care what NOBODY says.

That's exactly how we have them start. But that calculator can take all the thinking out of it if you put accurate information into it

I used a calculator like that for awhile. It wound up getting a nail driven thru it. For rafters I measure the run on the framing square, then multiply by the run. Lots of ways to skin the cat.

Damn slackers lol
You seem to have had more trouble with pain and stuff than my dad did. He never once mentioned pain except for he said a little bit when he coughed. I don’t think he even took pain medication once he got home.
I don’t think one section healed back together
The reason I’m thinking is from the sneezing fits
We will see what the ct scans say
Worst case scenario is they have to cut me back open
Take the wires out and grind down the bones some so they think they need to heal and put plates and screws in to hold the chest bone from moving
I still have a clicking when I sneeze in the chest section
From what I’ve read it happens in around 1% of the patients
