No, we are at 1100 ft elevation here. There are some low lying areas, and because we are so hilly, not like W. Virginia, the runoff accumulates in the valleys. The TVA does a good job with management with our dams and hydroelectric power plants, they have been keeping the containment low. We just got a bunch of rain quickly and some areas flood. Thanks for asking John.@Lnk . Are you in the flooding zone? Seeing lots of videos of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge all flooded out. Stay safe man
All my ponds are overflowing.Good morning men, all seems to have settled down here. Not raining, and wind is just a breeze. Hope all made it without damage. Lots of ponds that weren't there until recently. I was prepared this time. Raised my fence in the valley to let everything wash away. Instead of trying to pull down the fence. I guess it is nice to know in advance.
