Next Wednesday is our Union Meeting / Christmas party for our local. They encourage members to bring gift cards to be donated to local women's shelters. Mentioned this to the class and a 39 yr old guy who was a laborer said i only make 2nd year rate they ain't getting *s-word from me. Guy also has a 380 dollar titanium hammer. Just because a 30 dollar hammer doesn't work good enough

Morning, 13 and light snow, got about 6" yesterday, Anchorage got pounded yet again and we are headed almost all the way there later today so hopefully the roads will have been cleaned up by then

I’ve never understood or tolerated a man who would hit a female of any age, children, or dogs

The flip side is I have never understood the women who get smacked around and keep going back to the same guy or find another one who’s the same

I get the whole “rooted in childhood trauma” thing but you would think at some point they would get over it
