Needed new shelf pins after one of our kitchen cabinet shelves succumbed to gravity..
Stopped at Lowes.
Recalled that my 30+year old no name slip joint pliers at work are pretty well worn out and don't stay in the groove anymore.

I could have bought the 8" for $10, the 10" for $12, or the 12" for $13.

Or, the set of all 3 on sale for $15...

I just drive around and pick them up out of the road when other people loose them. That's how I got the last three pair of channel lock branded tools I have. Used to keep some china made things in the truck that I found on the road, but the worthless mechanic found them one day and they disappeared. Kinda bad that I can find a pair of snap-on branded side cutters left in the truck and make sure they make it back to the owner, but some scumbag will steal three cheap pairs of pliers.

That is hilarious, the one good set of Channel locks I have, I found at a red light in middle of a city, I hopped out and grabbed them
