im allergic to the penicillin meds too
amoxicillin was what they gave me for a treatment for lymph node under my arm when i was 11 that gave me a rash
then a couple weeks later they took the lymph node out
it was the size of a golf ball and infected

I go into severe anaphylactic shock and can’t even take meds that are in the penicillin family but several generations out

The last time I had a severe infection and a doctor said “oh it’s far enough away from original penicillin that you’ll be fine” and hooked me up, I crashed within seconds and had to have an immediate IV push of epinephrine to bring me out of it

im not that bad but that would suck
it just gives me a rash
statin meds make me nausea and cramps in the stomach
thats why i have to take the injections
