The postal service has went to *s-word and they want higher rates to mail stuff while losing a lot of mail to people going all electronic for bills
They have a special contract with Amazon and lose money doing their deliveries
But as a government agency they have their hand out every budget session

I can't argue with anything you said

The prices go up and the quality of service goes down and the subsidized pricing to big businesses is a large part of it

We actually had packages delivered on Sunday and yup, Amazon

The carrier came up the drive a couple days ago as I was finishing the driveway and her entire van was nothing but Amazon packages

I don't think we have a single important anything other than packages delivered by mail and we certainly don't write and mail checks to pay bills

That's a disaster looking for a place to happen
