Expecting USPS and UPS (tis the season for packages) so I gotta fire up the snow spitter and get going pretty soon

the usps will lose or wait a month to deliver
because they are so incompetent and ignorant

just had a letter take 12 days to travel 100 miles to be delivered
also waiting on paperwork from kansas thats been 2 weeks so far
but the junk mail is always in the box

I have been pleasantly surprised with the mail service here, especially compared to how absolutely awful it was in Hawaii where stuff was constantly lost and delayed and how incompetent the post office was at the old Alaska address, they were truly dreadful

We have a rural contract carrier and anything that won't fit in the mail box she actually comes up the driveway and puts it on the porch

For some strange reason UPS parks in the street and walks up the drive, I guess they don't think they can maneuver their van in the parking area in front of the garage

All I know is the boss is doing 90% of Christmas on Amazon so I haven't set foot in a store during the holiday madness

They have a special contract with Amazon and lose money doing their deliveries
But as a government agency they have their hand out every budget session
