Just saw a mate from the school days, haven't laid eyes on him for years.
We got into a few low level scrapes with the law and that back in the day before I moved away. He ended up taking a few justice enforced holidays, and i got a degree.
Don't know what was sadder today. The misspelled ZEPPLIN tat on his right cheek or the VFR400 he was riding.
FFS Stevo.
Stevo from Jackass?

Evening thin-skinned office dwellers.
I whacked my right index finger the other day when I was nailing on a light fixture box in the kids well pump house. Glancing blow across the top of the first digit. Bled enough that I left him a few "autographs" in his new pump house.
Guess I'm in the thin-skinned crowd now.😁
My "office" has six 19.5"(commie conversion?) wheels, and weighs 10 tons. Hence it being called 10 ton Tonya.

Currently out in the hotel parking lot having a beer and grilling a pork chop on my "office balcony".(tailgate)
SO nice to live the "priviledged life".😂😝

I hate the flu! Been 4 effing days stuck home. I's got phukkery to commit.
Get better gawd dammit. That's an order.
People have mentioned similar things to me before.
I think there is something to be said about the joyful brutality of attempting to stab them with a blunt object. It helps prove the "point" better than quick and easy.
Dig out their heart with a spoon.
We have a leaner.

I'd love to have one of those in good condition.

Nice, big families are great. I thought you were older, congrats on becoming crotchety at such a young age. Impressive! Lol

Both my parents came from big family's, 8 & 13 kids. So they wanted a big family also.

Like Dall says, it's the miles not the years. Him and I were both born in 1974, I was just born real early in 1974 Janaury for me.. I been around the block a few times. I think it's all the stupidity I've dealt with on job sites, school, family drama, marriage, etc, that makes me so crotchety.

I didn't get to finish high school, I really wanted to graduate, and maybe even go to college, the tech age was just in it's infancy in the early 1990's. Life had other plans for maulhead. I was told to leave 1-1/2 months into my junior year, I got into a knock down, drag out fight with a 2nd year senior, he left on a stretcher, I left in cuffs in a police car. It was a nasty fight, not something I'm proud of. I'd rather hug someone, then fight them. Chad was his name, big ole husky farm boy, he'd picked on me since 5th grade, I went to the hospital once with a concussion because of him in 7th grade, he wrapped me up side of the head with a locker lock stuffed in a sock, knocked me out cold.

I hate fighting, I told him several times in my junior year leave me alone, he would not quit, I told him right before the fight broke out, touch me again I'm gonna kill you, he blasted in the head with his fist, so I opened a slim jim on him and I didn't stop until he was not moving and there was blood every where. Police and paramedics came to the school it was not a pretty deal.

Two days later after I got kicked out of school, I hired on at drywall company and I went right to work. Few months later, My Dad saw some of my pay stubs, he showed me the door, Dad said as I was leaving, those hinges are one way, out and not back in, you can't make it out in the big world tuff chit son, I should of named you Sue.

I remember telling him heck Carry (older sister) has moved in & out 3 or 4 times now, what's up with that? Dad, well your not Carry are ya! I had my own apartment when I was 17, 4 blocks away from the school I got kicked out of. The guy that taught me the drywall trade, turned me loose at 19, Gary is his name, I had a ton of respect for him, he was my best man at my wedding, he told me after a 1-1/2 years under his wing I was ready for my own crew. And I had my own 2 crew by the time I was 19 years old, a lot of my classmates were just getting out of school trying to figure out their lifes, and I had my own hustle and was making bank, $1,200 a week was my gross, in 1991-92 that was pretty bad ass for a kid who got kicked out of schoolin'. Was kinda neat at the time. Looking back I can why there was a big beef about education with my Dad.

Most people I interact with on job sites these days will not even talk to me until around mid morning, after I wake up and come alive. I'm just a crabby crotchety fukk in the mornings. I warm up mid day, then it's game on, and we have some fun with each other.

That's pretty much my life story summed up in one post, other then, out busting my balls working 10-12 hour days, come home early one day to surprise the wife, and she's banging some dude on the couch that she just met at her job, in my (our) house.

Yeah I've got reasons to be crotchety.

Chainsaws, motorcycles and drums... you're just a walking, talking noisemaker aren't you?

Psh... Mobil 1 Annual Protection.... lasts 20k miles or the life of the engine, whichever comes first.

The service writer tried to sell the customer an oil change.
They said it wasn't needed as they check the oil and had just added some.
Cool.
I wonder what the filter looks like.

I understand. Sounds like you both had a tough time, and succeeded in spite of it. I won't post my lifes story on here, but I too have had ups and downs. As have most on here as far as I can tell. This is a men's club, people who have dealt with life and have overcome some stuff. I am a one on one conversationalist, and keep my cards close to the chest. Those of you who share are awesome, we all learn something from you. I don't have the miserable stories y'all do. Glad you all keep your chin up and persevered. Not a rare quality, but a good one. Used to be men were men, and that is what was expected. Stuff happens and you deal with it.

Reading your story, it is amazing you are only crotchety. Lol
