Morning mf'ers. That includes @dall

22 here this morning. First fire of the year last night, and into the morning. Nice bed of coals when I got up, so just loaded the stove back up with more wood.

Did you not have a wood stove in Jan-March of 2023?

When I was framing, and the crew was whining about the cold, I'd grab a sheet of plywood and jog around the house a couple of times with it to show them that they were just pussies.
Heat's in the tools *b-wordes! Coldest job I ever worked was at the fence supply company in the winter. It was right on the river and it was all outside. We had this crazy homemade snow plow and tire chains for the forklifts to plow the snow out of the yard so we could pull orders and unload trucks. Sometimes it'd get so cold the propane lines in the forklifts would freeze and they'd stall so we'd have to bring them inside with a torpedo heater to thaw the lines.

Mornin over sharers

32 and scattered clouds and wind

Got 3 days of rain coming up and then the temps are supposed to drop down to the 20s

Going to get the outdoor Christmas lights up today but since it's a new configuration I am starting from scratch

I am also not putting any staples or fasteners in the cedar trim so everything will have to just be wrapped somehow

Maybe the pup will help...
