So gas dropped 20 cents overnight last week and since then it’s been going up and down like a yoyo

Up 10 cents, down 5, sometimes several times a day

Today it’s back to 20 cents less than last week

Are you guys in America seeing this as well?
Yes, Over a week ago $2.98 and spiked to $3.25, now this week $3.17. Thiefagees!

You gotta quit bragging about TN if you don’t want any more neighbors 🤣
They are too high on sales tax
Yup... I'm moving. PA has the third highest gas tax behind California and Illinois. TN gas tax is less than half of what PA is.

Too late. My mind is already made up.
Getting your room ready in tenn now lol
My grandparents' house next door is officially sold as of today. My mom's brother is the executor of the estate and was going to sign the paperwork at noon. So I'll have new neighbors soon. Hope they aren't diks.
Good riddens lol
Shush you!
Get joes room ready
He will be there soon
And there you are watching lol

Maybe you Tennessee guys can elaborate on this a bit cause just going by what dad says.
No state income tax on wages
7% state sales tax on EVERYTHING including food.
And a 3% local tax added to the state tax for almost 10%.
Just my two cents everything from a coffee at Dunkin to a stop at a local Krogers all prices seem higher than here in the rust belt.
Not Mooooving, I'm sticking with the Keystone state. And yes all our taxes here are exorbitantly extreme no doubt.
This is a non political post gents.
BTW, Happy Birthday @Tor R , you healthy caloric, cardiac spreadsheet sumbish. Good on you! Keep it up!

Seems accurate. Our property taxes in Fentress County are very reasonable too.

Taxes are too high here in Tennessee, I would stay away if I was you. Nobody can afford to live here!

We have no state income tax, sales tax, etc although fuel is taxed at 9 cents a gallon

Some boroughs and municipalities have their own sales taxes, others don’t and the ones that do generally don’t tax groceries

Some municipalities don’t even have property taxes

Plus we get the Permanent Fund Dividend each year and that varies based on the market, this year everybody who was eligible and applied got $1,300 or so

Some years it’s double or triple that
