I remember that day on the way home from work, there was all this talk on the radio about the USA running out of gas & oil, and impending war in the middle east. There was lines out of the gas stations for blocks, people were filling up gas in every kinda container you could think of. Next morning most stations had signs on the pumps, out of gas.

Similar things happened here as well. I was a Sophomore in high school - they made an announcement shortly after it started on the loud speaker and then had the news with the live feed playing on the tv’s in the concourse.. My buddies and I took our guns and went shooting after school. No one knew what to expect next, but we all wanted to be ready..
